Workshops at NEDCC
NEDCC presents full-day in-person workshops at the Center’s facility in Andover, MA. These workshops often cover topics that include interactive, hands-on activities (such as Identification and Care of Photographs) or topics that require in-depth exploration and discussion.
Interested in bringing an NEDCC training program to your area? Your institution can host an NEDCC workshop or other program for your region, anywhere in the country. NEDCC will provide the faculty and help you promote the event to your audience. The NEDCC Preservation Services staff can tailor the program to your region’s interests and training needs.
NEDCC presents webinars on preservation topics ranging from collections care to the basics of digitization to AV preservation. Here is a list of webinars we have presented in the past, and that may be offered in the future. We offer 2-hour webinars as well as 1-hour, “Brown Bag” webinars during lunch time.
NEDCC has presented conferences on creating and managing digital collections in locations around the country and internationally since 1995. Digital Directions: Fundamentals of Creating and Managing Digital Collections is our current 2 ½ day conference that explores the challenges, considerations, and best practices surrounding today’s digital collections care.
